The IZARA II Grant provides a shared studio at the Convent of Santa Clara in Belalcázar. Housed in a single room in a local artist house (with wi-fi and all house expenses included), artists will receive support and resources for the production of their project, as well as trips to local places of interest. The grant does not include meals but all resident artists at La Fragua are free to pick local organic fruit and vegetables growing at the convent.

There will be an exhibition/presentation at the end of the residency of the artist's work.

The chosen artist will be asked to offer a work of art created at La Fragua to the sponsors of the IZARA II Grant.

A committee made up of art historians, curators, cultural agents, artists and members of La Fragua will determine who is to receive the grant by May 7th 2012.

Deadline:

May 6th 2012.
